June Finishes

I have a bunch of finished this month!

This first is a pincushion.  It's made by folding fabric and then stuffing it with crushed walnuts.  This is much bigger than the pincushion but gives you an idea of the method used.

This next quilt is a testament to enders and leaders.  I started this charity quilt as a stash buster.  It has all sorts of fabrics that 'just don't go together' but when you see the quilt finished, it looks amazing.  (Or at least I think so. :)  And I hardly notice that coral block right next to the fuchsia barbie doll pink one... :)  It was quilted for me by a wonderful friend who recently got a long arm quilting machine.  She did a fabulous job.

Not bad for a few 9-patches and 1/4 square triangles...

I made these little crocheted eggies for my nephew's second birthday.

Hi little eggies.

Hi little chickies!  (Cracking open the shell finds the chickies, no yolks here!)

Love that pincushion!

Great scrap busting quilt. I am trying to do a couple with all those leftover Insane pieces.

Those eggs are too cute!

Those eggs turned out ADORABLE! :0) I sure like the red/pink quilt too. I need a new leader/ender and I don't know what to start. Cool pincushion - I thought you guys were making pot holders!
